This image came to me fully formed and requesting to be manifested during a class on post-modernism. When you look at the print, the water moves a bit as a result of the repeated water lines. Is it a self-portrait? Isn't everything? Here I carefully hold my heart above the water and listen to the council of a blackbird who has my best interests at heart. What are those strange fin-like protrusions on my arm? Why arm-hairs of course!! I still have not completed printing this edition....
